Peter Boland (Dealer development Manager) says ‘there is no doubt that the systems and procedures developed over the years by our company together with the introduction of our Ambassador program last November is having a dramatic effect on results.

This is great news for both our business partners and their customers. Delivering the service to the customer that he demands makes our business partners more viable in the short, medium and long term.

Energy Performance Certification: Feb 2008

Onetalk are in the process of talking to a number of people about the EPC legislation as we think that our energy advisors and brokers are in an ideal position to help customers deal with this latest focus on energy efficiency. We are hoping to have sealed a deal with a national company to provide this service through our partners and our own offices by the end of April

The European Directive for the Energy Performance of Buildings (EPBD) means that virtually all business premises will need an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) by January 2009.
.
The problem is that our investigations show that many businesses (up to 65%) don’t know anything about EPC, this means they could find themselves on the wrong end of a £5000 fine for none compliance.
.
Greg Spiteri from Oval Insurers says 'aside from significant fines that can be incurred from not having an EPC, those without one may also find they have difficulty renting or selling their property'.

'The event was a great team building exercise' said managing director John Plant 'We had quite a few people commit to running that eventually did not take part on the day but never the less they all took some part in the training and helped those who did run keep focused . We would all like to thank our business partners for all the sponsorship, without them we would not have had the motivation to carry on and complete the race. We will be entering another race this year date to be announced so we will be asking people to dig deep once again.'
